I have always loved music, even at a very early age, I can remember being fascinated by my nan playing the piano, I remember the nursery school band, I played the Triangle, then their was singing competitions, and an everyday quest to make as much noise as possible on my Bontempi organ.
Then in my early teens, I discovered drums and played for the bands Green Temple (a prog-rock band) Belle et les Bete (a punk band) and Frame by Frame (an Indie Band).
After being told that my creative input was not important because I only played the drums, I decided a change was needed and in the early 1980's started exploring writing, singing and playing the keyboards on my own material, under the name The Kamera-I
In 1984, I Joined up with ex Life Size Models Guitarist and Vocalist, Charles Mclaine, and we formed the band
Total Strangers, we released two singles with an independent record label, performed live at some great venue's, and recorded in some of the top recording studio's including Abbey Road.
I also worked as a recording engineer, session musician and a producer for a number of studios, worked in an A&R department of an independent record label, and wrote music and jingles for TV and radio.
In 1988, I split with Total Strangers and spent a year out writing material for a new project.
In 1989, I joined up with Perrie Walder and we formed the band White Russia.

In 1991, I got married to Sheena, and after the split of White Russia in 1992, I had another go at a solo project.
Between 1996 and 2000, I studied music law, and got into teaching, and was chair of Sounds Phenomenal a youth
music project coordinating workshops in Music Technology/Studio Production and Singer/Songwriting, I feel proud that I was involved in the early development of Joanne Arrowsmith, Christianne Beck and Loz (Flymo) Russell I also stage managed festival and live events, sessioned for pantomime's and wrote jingles for radio,
Between 1999 & 2000, I was in a duet with Joanne Arrowsmith playing pubs, hotels clubs and weddings, and in 2002 released a Jazz album with Julian Fairhall called Infinitely Jammable.
In 2005, I decided I wanted to wrap up all the best of the songs and music, I had written or had co-written over the years and release it as an album, four of the songs I wanted on there, World Secret, Hideaway Girl, Theme for unknown soldiers, and Sad eyed Beagles by White Russia needed to be re-recorded.
