






Pebbles on the Port - 13th March 2011
The first of our preparation gigs for the "World-Secret"tour kicked off at a packed "Pebbles on the Port",
Dave Barnard kindly let us gatecrash his gig and perform three songs.
We opened with a cover of the Billy Connolly comedy song "D.I.V.O.R.C.E", this was followed by a track off the
"World-Secret" album called "Jessica Brown", and the set was finished with the Pink Floyd classic "Wish you were here". Perrie and Garry were joined on stage by master percussionist Theseus Gerard.
Everyone who was at the Black Horse on Sunday 4th Dec witnessed World Secret in a first generation line up performing songs from their future live set.
Dave Barnard very kindly let us play four songs from the World Secret album. The first two songs were performed as acoustic arrangements with Perrie Walder on lead vocals, Garry Cox on Acoustic guitar and keyboards and Joanne Arrowsmith on backing vocals. We opened with the duet "Just Waiting" and then performed "Me".
Later on the evening we played with the residential band, Thesaus Gerard on percussion (One of the founder members of Stomp), Dave Barnard on Bass guitar (who amongst others has played with Massive Attack) and Eric Wright on Acoustic guitar. The Full line up included Perrie Walder on Lead vocals, Garry Cox on Guitar and keyboards, Joanne Arrowsmith on backing vocals and Lee Cox on Guitar and keyboards.
We then performed "Hey Little Piggy" (it was great to see people getting up and dancing ) We finished with the song "Jessica Brown"
